Our Program Team:
Dr. Minkin’s bariatric program takes a multidisciplinary, fully integrated approach to the care of his patients. All members of our “program team” have undergone specific training and education regarding the care of the bariatric patient which results in better long term outcomes for the patient. All patients who are candidates for bariatric surgery will undergo a thorough team evaluation prior to surgery as well as comprehensive follow up care by both Dr. Minkin and his skilled team (advanced practitioner, dieticians, exercise physiologist and psychologist). We also encourage our patients to remain engaged in our free bi-monthly support groups. Utilizing such a comprehensive approach increases the likelihood of success in achieving the most desirable and continued weight loss as well as an improvement in overall satisfaction and well being.
